for Benning was my first active duty station. I was stationed with the 2nd 10th FA part of the 197th infantry brigade mechanized separate stationed at Kelly Hill for Benning Georgia this was from 1986 to 1987. drove down many of the tank trails in fort Benning on multiple vehicles to include the m109a3 the m151 the Hammett

not once in combat did I set up a 50 on its mount..always on a truck..we couldn't shoot at people with the 50 it was against the rules of war back then..so we just went all extra with a 240b on them

Had the pleasure of carrying the M203 for a while, very cool to shoot, only a few issued to each platoon..And also required to fire the M72 Law, and 71 Tow, crazy cool to fire!!
