Please don’t listen to these comments, if it doesn’t say IMAX 70mm then it isn’t the 70mm that everyone is talking about. You should choose IMAX with Laser.

Comes down to preference, but I’d say Dolby! Dolby in 1:85:1 specifically. (I had the same question, so fr I googled aspect ratios of my local theaters’ Dolby and IMAX screens 😭💀)

Dolby. I don’t get the hype for 70mm. I saw it in 70mm IMAX last night and it was grainy, while I understand that’s the purpose. I didn’t like it. This is why I’m just going to stick to my Dolby theater that’s 20mins away. I drove an hour 1/2 to see it in 70mm IMAX.

70mm....because Nolan decided to be STUPID and film the entire movie in a Format that only has 40 screens available WORLDWIDE.....

film graduate here. 70mm imax. nolan basically invented a new camera to film the odyssey and the 70mm is itttt for Big C

IMAX 70mm is the ideal way to view. But with so few theaters showing in that format I would recommend IMAX with laser because the screen will be closer to Nolan’s vision. Then Dolby Cinema, then 70mm

Just saw IMAX w Laser. movie is incredible but I will be driving the 45 minutes and paying Regal to see it in 70MM. and it's the aspect ratio, you get more of the shot

If I didn’t have an IMAX 70mm theater near me, I’d prolly watch it in IMAX with Laser. If you want a more comfy experience, watch it in Dolby.
