This is actually extremely sad. This mother bear is not bringing these cubs into this environment for no other reason that they are starving/thirsty and/or displaced from their home. This is a wild animal fighting for survival.

They should actually be really concerned. If momma bear has ventured into town with her two cubs it is because she is desperate…probably from the heat. It also means she will fight at the drop of a hat. Leave her the hell alone.

They’re likely hungry and thirsty because it’s way too hot outside and way too dry. The state is also on fire, so you’re going to start seeing more animals coming into cities looking for a refuge

Please do not forget that a ma bear with cubs is very protective and aggressive. Keep your distance or she will end up being killed trying to protect her babies, just happened a few years ago
