I live in Kazakhstan, and my parents really forced me to become Muslim. But they effort just made me Atheist, when I was young. Nowadays I became Buddhist, but I still like Islamic history and culture.

I consider Arab-Islamic civilization one of the strongest and most influential civilizations, but every peak and renaissance has its decline; that's history. Do you think the West, who were barbarians and backward for most of their history until about four centuries ago, will continue? Certainly not. There s also the wrong idea of what success is for most Muslims. Because some of the GCC countries are perfect examples of success, that goes beyond their oil reserves. I lived in both worlds and I can tell you their efficiency, their tolerance and their flexibility are more valuable than their oil. But most Muslims wouldn’t accept them as good examples of success either, because they feel they integrated too many western values in their society and they don’t fit their imperial idea of domination over others that is supposed to mean success. They don’t understand that nationalism and imperialism are dead (and used only as a propaganda tool to seed hate amongst the masses) and nobody conquers land like in the past centuries anymore (apart from Russia ig), but neo-colonise with companies and resource monopolies and so on, where the only beneficiaries are not even countries anymore, but high net worth individuals. They don’t get that empires and generals like Khalid Ibn Waleed are a thing of the past, that their enemies are not random white people living their lives or even their government. They want to hate
