Alr my point is both of them are victims , Her she didn’t deserve what happened to her she was basically R*ped , And him ? He didn’t know the stupid wish will work , we all wish things … i didn’t think his intentions were the way the show turned out , but what ruined this thoughts for me is when he didn’t wanna cancel the wish or when he heared her begging him to kill her or when she keeps saying “ that’s not me ..” he didn’t listen

"He was just confused and didn’t think it would work!-" The scene where Nikki asks for him to kill her, all he says is: "what’s so bad about being with me?" And she responds with "IVE never been with you bear?" And when she gained consciousness the first time they hooked up and she freaked him out, that gave him a sign, not to mention when they did, "It" she was laying there lifeless like a dead person.. He also said she’s never acted the way she was before, so don’t give that bullshit excuse. And no, he didn’t want to cancel the wish, he wanted to alter it, which still isn’t okay. She wasn’t in control of her autonomy and it was made even more clear when she walked backwards and was talking like a demon, did he do anything then? NO, humans don’t act like that.. then she’s crying for her life over the phone, and now he’s hanging up on her.. just say that you’d do the exact same thing he did

idk why ppl are unable to grapple that bear wasnt born evil in the first five minutes of the movie but every little choice AFTER making the wish has built him up to make him ultimately and utterly reprehensible

Idk how people are saying Bear is 100% a villain. He’s a morally grey character, he didn’t want any of this to happen. He’s absolutely selfish, that doesn’t make him a villain though. I guarantee most people would act just like him
