Luke, Mark, and Paul were all anointed prophets after Christ’s death and resurrection, so saying that no new prophets would come is low key nuts

Blessings to you. I am not Mormon but I have to absolutely agree with you on this video. People just take scripture and say what they want it to say. Great job with this. I will say one thing, the Bible does say beware of false phophets, so while I agree God can and does still call them, as he can call anyone. we have to make sure they are not the false ones and we do this by knowing the word and not taking it out of context. Again great job defending scripture

Changed By God :
In the Bible, prophets are God's messengers who warn, guide, and call people back to God. Scripture doesn't present prophetic activity as being confined to one exclusive, permanent officeholder who serves as the only ongoing channel through whom God speaks for a given time. Instead, the biblical narrative regularly shows multiple prophetic voices active at the same time, serving different prophetic functions and delivering different messages across communities. You can see this clearly throughout the historical books of the Old Testament. Hebrews highlights why this matters by emphasizing a decisive shift in how God's ultimate communication comes. In Hebrews 1:1–2 (KJV), it says: "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds." While prophecy was real and meaningful, God's final and climactic way of speaking is through the Son. Later prophetic claims should therefore be understood as secondary to, and not in the same final capacity as, Christ's unique role.

the law and the prophets are 2 of 3 sections of compilations of what was the common old testament or Tanakh.
