I'm going to be honest. 35mm looks more cinematic and dynamic. i really don't get the hype with imax. humans view things horizontally so why would i want something square. the only benefit is film quality

For me, IMAX is the best, because in that format, at least you can take advantage of all the frames of a screen and make the most of it

Imax 70 mm looks like the old TV format that's taller, but cropped off on the sides, I rather watch regular Imax
