@sweatson.klank: Look Ma! No DAW! The Sony TCM-450 is both beautiful looking and sounding when it comes hand held cassette recorder/walkmans of past generations. I believe it was a Japan only model. Here it is recording some wind chimes in my back yard and run through a Roland Re-20 space echo pedal for the beginnings of some ambient music projects.. if the kids these days played with tapes and sound as much as they do their phones.. well.... who knows.
