Yeah I know all about this when I was 8 I was obsessed with this case. She was definitely eaten, they found the bones of a girl her age. However Coconut crabs are scavenger crabs so she likely survived the crash but was so badly hurt she ended up dying at her campfire, of which the smell of dead, light, and blood lured the coconut crabs to feast on her body after she had died from injuries

Can I get a coconut crab in my next seafood boil. They look good as hell and definitely got a lot of meat in them

I don’t think a coconut crab would have killed her alive she was probably dead and then eaten by crabs

tbh i feel she had already passed and maybe they then ate. They are scared of things that are bigger than them.

Or maybe they just didn’t care enough to search for her because she was a part of the womans rights campaign and they knew if she completed this flight then that would be a huge step for woman and even mankind

They didn’t her calls were bogus. They just ignored them bc they wanted her to fail. Her success would have threatened their misogyni

No way she would’ve survived a crash anyways. She was likely dead, then they ate her

this is false, giys dont listen to misinformation especially about someone's death Those crabs are not hunters they are opportunistic scavengers, they dont really hunt mostly scavenge and the prey they hunt is rats, smaller crabs and seabirds NOT people, guess what shes not the size of a kitten or Seabird as you mentioned they've been seen killing They also mostly eat fallen fruits, nuts and carrion So even IF they did eat her she would have already been gone, lets not make stuff up about someone death, she doesn't deserve this
