little movie idea because i’ve been thinking from your video. imagine a one wish willow movie where someone brings their like dead boyfriend or girlfriend back to life. they come back perfectly for like one or two weeks but the dead one starts to rot in their own body like a zombie. like how curry focused on the wish of making someone fall in love with you, this one would be focused on the wish of bringing someone back to life who shouldn’t be there.

I feel like with this added bit it could lean into the more psychological aspects of literally "becoming" another person. something like suddenly having memories, personality traits and potential mental problems shoved into your head would probably start an identity crisis and decline in mental health.

And as another part of this idea I just thought of like when the wish starts fucking up it starts taking it more literally and starts kinda like stitching and merging parts of the comic blur and the nerd dude together. Just like fueling the nerd dudes like hate, pain and just messing up his mental. Then at like the end of the movie we see the dudes perspective and it’s just like a comic.

I just kept thinking that sometimes his powers just stop, like no warning, he just loses them which then he struggles to do something that he could, which makes him more anxious and paranoid giving him more anger and makes him start to shake more

Maybe him wishing to be the blur, his powers have like conflicts with the real world as super speed and stuff like that never existed so they try and work their way around real world logic and science

Could the wish start to effect the stakes of the crimes being committed? Like in the start it’s very cliche bank robbing and mugging, but as his mental state becomes worse, there could be a few moments of the crimes becoming more drastic like trafficking and kidnapping

also maybe the nerd hasn't finished the series yet and at the end of the movie all the friends are dead and he finds the last comic in the series and the last page shows the blur dieing and as soon as he sees that he runs to the store and it will be a slow mo shot of him running as he slowly fades into dust

i think he should lowk have more reasons for going crazy, like seeing that guy and girl kiss is heartbreaking sure but its not enough to make him go mad like that, especially not mad enough to explode a guy into a brick wall the next time we see him. he should have more bad sht happen to him and itd be cool to see him slowly go mad rather than all at once, like maybe his parents could d1e, or he failed out of school cause he didnt have time to study because of being a superhero or sth, or he couldnt save someone while being a hero, sth like that

I feel like the Blur from the comics could be an older character like he was made in the 70s and he could have those kind of controversies characters would have that weren't seen as bad yet. Like how professor X has done shady stuff. Or how some comic book writers write a awful person that's supposed to be seen as a hero.

If his wish was to be the Blur I think you could have him being attached to an actor that might’ve played the love interest in live action but at the same time I don’t want it to be too similar to Obsession

Imma add that in the comics The Blur got his powers from something really traumatizing happening in his life and that occurs to the MC (imma call him Sam) in real life too but he’s so obsessed with the fact he’s a superhero he doesn’t shed too much light on it and his friend group sees that as weird. Like maybe his parents pass away and he doesn’t really gaf despite them taking him to see the Blur movie at the start of the movie showing that they love him or something like that. That could be the first uncanny event throughout the movie so that for the rest of the first 40% it’s just typical hero stuff but that’s the first sign that makes the audience see a bit of horror.

love it my thoughts on is when he's like fully turning.... a new comic issue comes out and is flipping through pages in-between the action and U see the write of the comic always intented to make the blur turn evil and it starts to effect the main character even more

hear me out what if as the movie progresses the dude begins a super hero psychosis. By this i mean he begins to switch from himself to the blur and eventually begins to have schizophrenia due to him not knowing who he really is anymore. Like he has memories of the blur and of himself and ts just fucking him up. ( Also make his view of the world become more comic like)
