@a1sakacapor: So is the world. The reaction to my last post only proved why conversations like this are still necessary. So many people were offended by women simply choosing to cover their bodies. Not because anyone was forced to do the same. Not because anyone lost a right. But simply because someone made a different choice. Freedom isn’t about everyone making the same choices. It’s about respecting choices you wouldn’t make yourself. A woman in a bikini doesn’t threaten me. A woman in a burkini shouldn’t threaten anyone else. There is enough space for both. On the beach. And in society.
