I hate to break it to you, but all presidents have been in bed with rich families that can fund their current/future campaigns. That is not specific to Eisenhower. Please share which president in the last hundred years didn’t except money from (and appoint) rich, corrupt men to positions of power, and didn’t play a part in forcing US friendly leadership into the developing world. Nothing you are complaining about will be fixed until we fix US campaign financing.
