Been doing real estate photography/media for 6 years or so now, to be honest I’m not big on using the hdr/bracketed images for the exterior. Usually a single properly exposed image that’s edited properly looks better imo. Also remember that everything in real estate is fake. Don’t be afraid to use photoshop to clean it up, as long as it isn’t something that physically can’t be altered like a tree or light pole I say get it out of there. Simpler is always better. Other than that the photos look okay. Same as what I’d usually shoot. Also something they won’t tell you but when the agent uploads to HAR they’re typically limited to 20MB per image so when exporting I will do a set of “large file” for them to use on socials and a “small file” for them to use for the listing websites

16mm for exterior and raise tripod. Good luck! I started about 6 months ago and got a consistent client - each shoot gets better and better and your confidence will grow.

Also it just looks awkward, but think about it you can AI stuff to make it looks better, as in don’t fraud it and add pillars, .. but think about Using AI to get rid of those trees, or AI to add better grass , and boom that alone makes pictures look better

How do you find clients? All I’ve been doing is reaching out to homes for sale by owner and getting them pictures, how do I get working for a real estate agent?

use a 35mm lense. the lense your using is too wide which is showing bending. not good to have bending for architecture shoots

Few more steps to the right and the tree won’t be blocking the house, you also might need a 17-35 mm lens for the future.

Look up houses with the same setup (same bed and bath amount) and copy as close as possible 🤷🏻♂️then Lightroom, select bracketed photos, CTRL+H, and “apply Auto settings”. Make adjustments as needed!

You got to think of padding when shooting front house photos, look at your edges of photo you can easily see that your not even fully center for front shot also you should zoom

When I was a full time real estate photographer… most of my agents were looking for the house to be centered (side of house to side of house) three shots of front and back all at various depths (really far back mid and close up) and then one “bonus” of the front of the best angle I could find. Other than that this was a weird shaped house and sometimes it’s just about showing the space accurately and with good quality

As an agent, these are actually really good for a first try. This is a difficult house with the trees in the middle but several looked usable to me. I do agree that the tripod should be higher but otherwise great start!!

Always WIDE!!!, use google AI, believe me. It actually helped me to find the right lens and answer all my questions with a very simple vocabulary :). Hope it helps 🥰 (the lens 10-18mm it’s pretty good, from sigma)

Hey, I do architectural photography. You need a tripod that goes above your head. You also need to bracket your photos. Make sure you’re taking photos at sunrise or sunset (depending which way the building is facing). Also make sure the lights in the house are on so you can see it from the windows. I prefer to have more sky than grass best option if you could have it equal and use the rules of third and just have the house in the middle, but sometimes it doesn’t work out so just have there be less grass than sky because the sky is usually prettier than the grass and in this case your grass would need Photoshop work to make it look good. In Lightroom check, remove chromatic, aberration enable profile corrections and then go to transform and click auto.

I’m not a real estate photographer but if i were looking to buy a house i think your photos are pretty good although in that first photo from the front i feel like the composition could be slightly better (too much grass) but overall i would be happy with those photos as a buyer
