So it was about 2am on christmas day, on the way home from Caldwell, ID, we passed jordan valley Oregon and I saw this car with an indian family outside of it. I realized that all the airbags deployed, the car rolled a few times, and saw the bumper on the ground about 10 feet away. So we turned around and made sure they were ok. They had been waiting for 30 minutes out in the cold. Of the 6 people in the car, one was ejected and the driver suffered a concussion and torn acl. What really pissed me off about the whole situation is 5 other cars passed these people and didn't help. I know people aren't obligated to help but it's christmas, icy and 2am (by the time we got on the road it was 3am). 2 had no socks so I gave them my spare sets of socks. The ambulance finally showed up from jordan valley (about 20 miles away), loaded up the 2 injured, an injured peraon's wife and said they had to go to the hospital in caldwell, ID. So after checking the distance/percentage in the car, We realized i had just enough charge to get to the next charger (about 220 miles between chargers). So we decided to load up the rest of them into the Tesla, turn around and drive them back to hospital in caldwell, and the afterwards, the charger. What should have been a 14 hour trip turned into a 36 hour trip, taking up most christmas. Did it suck that we missed most of christmas with the family? Yes Did it cost more time and money for extra charging? Yes. But it was the right thing to do and help these people who were confused and in distress. Merry christmas everyone and remember to be thankful for what you have and that you're not injured. @Tania Flores
