if your a starter photographer. Cannon are be best. I personally use the Cannon EOS R50. it is the best camera ever. I really recommend that. but if your looking for the sony side then I would definitely recommend the a6700. The only difference between the Cannon EOS R50 and the A6700 is the price. The R50 has same mega-pixels as the 6700.

As a A6400 user, go with A6700. Yes, you won't get an internal flash, but the IBIS really helps when you are shooting low light with a slow shutter speed. The vari-angle touchscreen also helps when you're shooting on an awkward angle. Though I would recommend saving a bit more for A7CII.

go for the a6400 if you're on a limited budget, but if you're willing to spend more go for the a6700! i have a6400 and its a very amazing and versatile little camera. the kit lens is okay for starting out too but i'd recommend upgrading to better lenses. for me, the lenses are the real game changers, so take that into mind too.

I’m brand new to photography and I’m going to buy the Sony a6700 and 2 lenses, a Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 and the Sony FE 70-200mm F/4 for high school photography I’m extremely thankful to my parents for getting me these things as I know their extremely expensive

if u're a beginner, I'm highly recommend u to get a6000, it's still goat if u're starting for photography. And buy another lenses that u can use even if u're upgrading ur camera.

a6700 is better if you know you will eventually want to shift to photos AND video, which you may not think of now but the IBS may come into help if that day comes :)
