I saw a reel where this guy said he read a 500 page book about the history of salt and he learned that in Roman times, soldiers were paid in salt, and that’s why they still to this day call it a salary. Wars have been fought over salt. And today we have salt sitting on all of our tables and we barely pay any attention to it. Blew my mind.
