no one hates the team of players everyone hates the media it's one thing to back the team but the media overhypes them as if they are owed the win in every match also no one else goes on about the last world cup win as much as the English media it was won in 66 that's the year not the amount of times it has to be brought up in every conversation hahaha

It’s the arrogance people don’t like… other teams don’t do it, singing it’s coming home… you won the world come ONCE, 60 years ago… Spain have won it once too, but they don’t have the arrogance and entitlement that England players and fans have! Maybe try be humble and see the difference on how people around the world react to you

We don’t mind the England team (in principle)… it’s the media and the fans that we hate! A bit of graciousness in victory and maybe be a little more magnanimous in defeat and you’d have more international supporters!
