@coachbryanclark: Feeling like you’re always the one being criticized is exhausting. And yes, there are absolutely relationships where one partner is overly critical or impossible to please. I’m not talking about those. I’m talking about the relationships where one person brings up every issue because they genuinely want to work through them… while the other quietly lets things go. At first glance, it feels unfair: “They’re always pointing out what I do wrong.” But if you’re choosing not to bring up your own frustrations, you’ve unintentionally created a relationship where only one person’s concerns ever get airtime. That doesn’t mean your partner should stop expressing their needs. It means you deserve to express yours, too. Healthy relationships aren’t built by one person staying quiet to keep the peace. They’re built by two people feeling safe enough to say, “Hey, this isn’t working for me either.” Ironically, speaking up more often might be the very thing that makes it stop feeling like it’s always about you. Have you ever been in a relationship where one person brought up every issue while the other rarely said anything? #relationships #avoidantattachment #avoidant #relationshipadvice #fixitorfeelit

and also if you decide to handle the stuff on your own you actually have to handle it. not avoid it, build up resentment and then blame your partner

What if both partners feel like they’re being criticized, but only the FAs side gets acknowledged?
