I followed the same process. It took two years between paperwork and wait times. Paid the fees, moved. Got married. Went to every interview. Provided every paperwork they asked for and I just got approved for my greencard. The entire process from when we talked about my moving to the states to now, took about three years. I followed the law. I did what I was asked to do by the government of the country I moved to. It took effort, time, money and due diligence. Follow the law people!!!
