Q : please tell us about your impressions of each other including during the filming of the television series and what aspects you found particularly useful Imai : i am grateful for the opportunity to act alongside Furukawa's san and for learning so much from him about acting details such as eye contact and timing i hope to use those experiences to further develop myself as an actor Q : you were able to talk to Furukawa's san so easily from the start of filming weren't you? Imai : at first i was nervous. Furukawa san is very experienced so i was worried that if i spoke to him awkwardly and informally he might not like it (laughs) but Furukawa san was very kind to me and we talked about many things including our personal lives Q : and what about Furukawa san? Furukawa : imai-kun is very serious he writes down how to say each line in the script and before each performance he always practices pronunciation to make sure he doesn't make any mistakes he gradually learns the role at his own pace previously Imai-kun spoke to me politely as a senior colleague but i didn't give him much advice on acting that's because he only consulted me twice throughout the entire time the main series was airing Q : from what i've heard it seems you two get along very well now that filming is over how is your relationship with everyone in the Zeztz team? Imai : everyone is very kind and we have a caring relationship with each other i'm very glad i got Furukawa's san contact information Q : do you think you can continue this relationship in the future? Imai : i'd say

(laughs) Furukawa : i think this subtle distance is clearly reflected in the characters of nox and baku (laughs) originally i didn't really talk to other actors on other sets either often there was no conversation beyond dialogue so for the first four months i didn't talk to Imai at all after four months when there were scenes where nox and baku got closer i think that's when we started talking Furukawa : on set i and the other actors usually respected each other. Imai said he didn't dare talk to me much and i didn't want to bother my juniors either i talked to a girl like Horiguchi Maho (played Nemu) who asked me anything without hesitation but... honestly i don't understand these young people nowadays like "What does this mean?" "I want to go eat out?" Imai : what do you mean? (laughs) Furukawa : i feel the generation gap (laughs) back then if an adult invited me out I'd be like "definitely have to go!" but nowadays it's not so easy for adults to seriously invite someone out for a meal anymore right? Imai : i really want to go! Q : earlier during an interview Imai mentioned that he wanted to improve himself by applying what he learned from Furukawa san foes Furukawa san have any further advice for Imai san in the future?
