This is soooo true!!!! I’ve witnessed this it’s mind blowing! Another word is bypassing and capacity….you can only start to heal and increase your capacity if you’re willing to see and sit with your Truth!! Not many can do that. The real healing will happen in random moments when your mind, body and spirit are all willing to release in quite moments you’re willing to sit in and through. The only way out is through!

After my son died, I spent years learning that healing isn’t an event or an insight—it’s a willingness to keep changing when the familiar version of your life no longer tells the truth. Rock bottom can force that decision, but eventually courage has to replace crisis as the reason you keep doing the work. Fifteen years later, I’m still reevaluating, taking responsibility, and changing patterns that once felt permanent. I’m grateful to be in a healthy relationship where that work can be spoken about honestly, without either of us being blamed or abandoned. The work doesn’t end. But neither does the growth. Trish you have helped me so much. I just love you. I have been on a new life that is exciting and hard at the same time. I finally made myself a priority. when that happened and I am literally a different person. it's scarey and real. i stopped stuffing my feelings and feeling them. it's making me stronger but I feel like I am out on a ledge by myself. beautiful but scary 😨 I am working on it! I finally being me!!! the me I always knew.

fuck! It's not fun, that's for sure. And you're right, once you decide you actually can't go back...or at least once you go past a certain point. I've sabotaged my healing many times.... until I got real. The hardest person I've ever faced is me..... being ugly honest with myself....and don't expect people around you to understand... you need to trust yourself. Thank you Trish.....
