Spurs Rockets Blazers Sonics Jazz I never worried about getting to the finals but in regular season those Western Conf teams always handled the Bulls so I never thought they could pull it off in the finals but they did every time!!! Why? Cause Jorden took it to the next level. Refused to lose.

Amen, what drives me nuts about basketball fans? Is there the only group of people that do this football fans? Don’t baseball fans don’t hockey fans don’t they lift up their heroes. One other thing, the physical limitations of humans how fast we can run how high we can jump in the last 40 years we have broken fewer world records than any other point in history. It’s to crawl now. People were running almost as fast back then jumping just about as high and having the same amount of stamina they’re treating it like it’s the 1940s. It’s ridiculous.

And they could only take two steps back then… 3 steps was always a travel. Centers were beasts that punished you. Power forwards too. It was a more physical game, no healthy scratches existed. They played beat up and hurt. I could keep going. It’s a different game now.

there are significantly more people in the world playing basketball now than there were then, that is a fact. with that being a fact it is also going to be a fact that the top end talent is going to be better, and that the very limited amount of roster spots in the NBA is gonna be filled with higher level talent from top to bottom. that is simply a statistical certainty, and that's before even talking about the evolution of the sport and sports science. also naming stars doesn't address the accusation that he played against plumbers, because the plumbers in question would be everyone other than the stars.

I think MJ is the GOAT but specifically during Jordan's latter 3peat there wasn't as much talent in the league vs his first. I believe had Jordan been drafted when Bird & Magic were he probably wouldn't have 6 rings. But despite that, he's still the greatest basketball player I've ever seen
