I was in a doctor's waiting room and this old lady was blasting her mobile game sound effects. I was otp with my mom so she could help me check in bc I had never been to this office before and that lady's phone was so loud I couldn't focus on what my mom was saying. I ended up telling my mom that I really hate when other people forget their phone has volume buttons loud enough for the lady to hear and she turned her volume off 😭

once had a group of young men get on the bus clearly on the way to a night out and they politely asked me and the other young woman on the bus if we minded if they listened to music out loud. and that's the only acceptable way to do it.

reminds me of when i was in hospital and there was a man in the bay in front of me that wouldn’t stop taking phone calls at full volume and watching videos then my sister called me and she asked if it was ok to call and i said very loudly ‘yes it is ok to call because i have headphones and don’t play call at full volume’ then a nurse came into my bay about 10 mins later and told me i upset the man in front of me

at my job a woman came in to get her hair done and the ENTIRE TIME she was there her kid was on her ipad blasting the volume on whatever show or game she had on there and the mom did absolutely nothing. i hate people sm

me and my partner had to tell an older lady and her husband to turn down their phone cause they were blaring england football songs on the train, not turn it off but turn it down (i had noise cancelling headphones on and i could STILL hear it over my very loud music)…lady went NUTS and then when the rest of the people in the carriage wouldn’t back her up she went and stood by the doors, like sorry we’re not all football fans but we’ve just travelled for about six hours already and everyone else just wants some peace and quiet
