My favorite part of the final scene might be the bending of the bow. When he first bends it and ‘can’t string it’, it’s him stretching an old bow, and stretching his old bones. Also, it’s a recurve bow, which means that bending isn’t really a test of strength, but technique; a technique that he never taught to others. So, like always, his greatest strength is his wit.
