I’d say that’s normal. None of my cardiologists would consider that MVP since it’s not bowing more than 2mm past annulus. Especially if MR is mild or less.

no mvp has to be more than 2 mm and MR present leaflets are definitely thickened

Hard to distinguish MVP here- I know you identify that with PLAX view, but I need more information to classify this as prolapse. I need color Doppler, M-mode eval. Yes the leaflets are thickened, and possible SAM present, but hard to distinguish MVP without color Doppler at the very least to confirm MR severity.

Systolic bowing without prolapse, SAM is doubtful, there’s no HCM and I doubt there’d be obstruction via gradients

It obviously bows but impossible to say for definite if you dont have a measurement & assessment of any MR

Normal, some bowing but I wouldn’t call it prolapse. They kinda look like they just need more volume. I’m guessing there wasn’t any MR with color, right?

I’ll say it’s normal, especially if there’s no MR. But I woulda just noted it as “elongated AMVL”
