As they walked home, Jack realized he didn't just see her as a friend—he was terrified of losing her to someone else.In the dramatic finale, Jack finally accepted his feelings and challenged Jenny to a full-contact karate match. He vowed that if he could defeat her fairly, he would confess his true feelings. After a fierce, sweating battle, Jack managed to pin Jenny to the mat. Looking down at her, he admitted that he had been in love with her all along but was too afraid of ruining their perfect friendship. Jenny smiled, wrapped her arms around him, and they finally became a real couple.
