Patrick Jane is Dexter’s worst nightmare. He loves setting up traps and Dexter is so often impulsive to fix mistakes that he believes he has made. I think 24 hrs is all patrick needs

We will compare the Characters on the peaks. So the main question is what happens if Dexter meet Patrick Jane, 1)Patrick Jane is the epitome of a mentalist. He sees through people and understands their weaknesses and psychology. He caught an incredible number of murderers, robbers, and so on. But it is worth understanding that Dexter is much more dangerous and smarter, it is difficult to compare him with Red John due to the difference in approaches, as Dexter works alone, and blood John has created his own empire, but it is definitely possible to say that blood John is smarter, but how much and how this difference in intelligence will affect the discovery of Dexter varies. Next, the methods of law enforcement in different series are different, in the Mentalist, forensic scientists are mentioned very rarely and they are not part of the team, which is not the case with Dexter, and this is an important criterion. If Patrick Jane gets into the Dexter universe, it will take much less time due to the more frequent interactions. It would probably take about 5-7 episodes with a focus on Dexter, while in the Mentalist series, it would be more blurred by other crimes, requiring about 9-14 episodes to suspect him (about twice as fast as in the Doux series).
