i think you have unrealistic standards of whet your walk with God is supposed to look like. it’s not supposed to be an uphill trend when you’re doing amazing everyday. the close and intimate relationship develops when you’re open with Him abt your silent seasons, it actually helps you get closer to Him.

Hey sister, always remember that feelings are temporary. Walk with Christ isn't always constant feeling of "on fire" but there is always feeling like empty. When that happens never stop praying about it, and always remember your feelings might be deceived you and let you feel God is so far away. Don't let that FEELING stop you from encountering Jesus. You know Jesus never left and we are perfected in Christ. So don't let shameful feelings stop you from encountering Him. No matter what you are feeling, the truth always firmㅡ Jesus will never forsake us.

I try so hard to be enough for him but I just can’t get myself to do certain stuff like read my Bible daily. I get this spikes where I read my Bible I pray constantly and then later that feeling just disappears if that makes sense? I want to be enough for him so much and I KNOW what I have to do to be enough but I just cannot get myself to do it and I hate myself for it.

Your feelings will come and go. It’s your obedience and true faith that’s formed in the mundane. Stay honest with him about what you feel, remember His goodness past and present, ask for His joy. He will keep you no matter how you feel.

Remember, being disciplined isn’t just about reading ur bible everyday. Just cuz you missed one day doesn’t mean you lost God, 🙏 Being discipline is also about growing in Gods word

This is real!! One thing I have to constantly remind myself is that our faith is not defined by our feelings because our feelings are a liar and they constantly change, but God doesn’t!! God says in the word that if you seek Him you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart so just keep reading the word and praying even when you don’t feel Him, He’s there! 🫶 I also think of it as a test of faith in a way to keep on going even when it’s hard. Kind of like going to the gym when you don’t see any progress but little by little you are getting stronger and eventually you will see the difference. Hope this helped! 💗

for anyone who is struggling w this , i recommend using a bible app that helps u read one bible story a day. i do that and it helps me feel connected to God even on those days i feel so far from him, i always think atleast i learned something about his story, i personally use Manna and i have 208 day streak rn☺️☺️

i struggle heavily with this, but recently the Father showed me the key is to be consistent in faith no matter what. it's hard when we sin, we feel the guilt and the shame and we want to turn away from Him, but don't give up! Jesus is with you until the very end, He's not giving up on you either, allow Him to cling to you and cling back to Him 💗 God bless you, sister!
