I just build as per design. Most the engineers I deal with aren't scaffolders or have scaffold background. If it don't match their design, you'll have a challenging time.

Journeyman scaffolders build cantilevers all the time without them being designed by an engineer. Go to Alberta, B.C., and Saskatchewan.

You have to be careful using band and plate with aluminium beams. the point loading can crush and compromise integrity. You can get seats to mitigate though.

look any scaff / inspector worth anything knows you can always find fault with any job doesn't matter who builds or designs

lace bracez and spider bracing depending on how long the ladder beams are and if it's a loading bay rake some tube beef it up a bit
