@histoireduneflamme: 🇨🇭 The "Feurer Genève" Pocket Lighter by Jean Feurer [1947] 🇨🇭 — This fabulous and rare old lighter with ita gorgeous roller design was made around the late 1940s in Switzerland. Patented around 1947 by Jean Feurer in Geneva, it features a super cool but pretty complicated mechanism that lights up in one motion, press the roller to open the lid and roll it to ignite the wick on fire. It was designed to be removed from the case to refill it and has two hidden spare flint storage. The "Feurer" lighter was also licensed by the famous French luxury company Hermès. Despite looking the same, the Hermes lighter is much less complex as it only features a manual ignition mechanism and a classic fuel screw to refill it.
