As a former special ed.primary school teacher I wish you the best of luck. One piece of advice. Apply for the Trinity College Diploma in Specisl Ed. It is a brilliant and very practical course and it greatly enhances the experience and knowledge you already have.

my daughter came up with a method to help her add and subtract drawing dots and marking them out. now its been implemented into the whole class and they call it "Millie's dot method" she's 6.
