@theandyharrington: Every speaker has a default stance. Most never chose theirs. Nerves and habit chose it for them. The one worth choosing has three checkpoints: feet perpendicular to the audience and hip width, chest lifted ever so slightly, chin ever so slightly down. Square, settled, steady. Why it matters: under pressure nobody rises to their intentions. Everybody falls to their default. Lose your thread mid-talk and your body goes wherever habit takes it. Make that habit a strong neutral and you look composed even in the seconds you're not. Film yourself for two minutes and watch only the stance. You'll meet your default. Then decide if it deserves to keep the job. Full demo in the video. Save it for rehearsal. #PublicSpeaking #StagePresence #BodyLanguage #SpeakerCoach
