I had a spot on my arm for almost 2 years. It was flaky and pink. It would kinda raise up. Get crusty and flake off in the shower, with a little bit of pain . Felt raw like a cold sore. First I was told it was sporadic as I have rheumatoid arthritis, which kind of made sense. Finally a nurse practitioner looked at it and said I’m going to do a punch test for you. Came back a skin cancer. I had it burned off and one year later, I had to have it burned off again. Thankfully, it has not come back and it’s been about 10 years now however, at the time I had some other areas looked at. I had a spot on my cheek, which I had zapped at the same time. Now that spot has come back 10 years later.
