Saw it last night .. with my son who is a classicist who had a few gripes re the narrative and sections from the epic they cut but he did enjoy it. I agree entirely with your assessment particularly re Agamemnon … I came out utterly exhausted - what a visceral powerful experience ….. yes it’s long but it didn’t matter I think that’s the point particularly for the mid part of the movie. I went through every emotion with regards to Odysseus character and admit I shed a tear at the end. Even if you have no interest in mythology and Greek literature this is a film worth seeing for its cinematic brilliance …

Just saw it, 2/5 for me, the script and dialogue was woeful, casting a little off, the ending with RPat was borderline comical / gutted really as wanted to like it
