I had a fantastic science teacher in college and he said, yes global warming is real. However, everyone manages to leave out the fact that the earth has ALWAYS gone through natural warming and cooling cycles and this is all normal. Like why do we over complicate everything

Climate change doesn't cause forest fires, poor forest management cause forest fires. also accidents and arson. the climate doomers act like the forest is spontaneously combusting in 90 degrees weather.

Disaster deaths can fall because warning systems, medicine, and infrastructure improved, not because the hazards disappeared (Bouwer, 2011; CRED, 2020). Disaster loss trends do not prove disasters are getting weaker, and reported numbers can be distorted by incomplete disaster databases (Doocy et al., 2013; Guha-Sapir and Hoyois, 2020). Economic losses from natural disasters have been increasing in recent decades, mainly because more people and more assets are in harm's way (Botzen, Deschenes and Sanders, 2019). Drought is measured in different ways, and later reviews do not support a simple "nothing changed" story after 2012 (Seneviratne, 2012; Vicente-Serrano et al., 2022). Ice sheet loss matters because it adds to sea level rise, and sea level rise has real impacts (IPCC, 2019; IPCC, 2021).

You identify a number of things that aren't problems anymore... Yes because we recognized them as problems, then took action to fix them... That's why those aren't issues? But suddenly for climate change we shouldn't recognize the issue or take action to fix it? Like it's so unbelievably contradictory it's truly unbelievable. "We don't need to fix this issue! Look all these other issues we fixed turned out completely fine!"

Just bc we humans learn how to adapt doesn’t mean we’re not harming our environment and can’t eventually harm us. Also it’s wild that you would be pro CO2 and be against renewable energy, what a choice. Also your data is at most for 150 years lol this is a perfect example of data manipulation. This is like if someone asked you if the sky was blue and you described everything else around you but the sky.

can you speak on the increase of ocean temperatures/increased acidity in the ocean/possible collapse of the AMOC and its effects on the climate? it seems like you’re picking SOME things to talk about but the most important ones are left out.
