I have a client who wont look up from her damn phone, even when im trying to cut her bangs. even after ive told her multiple times to look up. so if her bangs ever wind up too short- oh well.

Me lifting and letting my head move loosely and trying to predict what will be comfortable for my hairdresser but also fighting for my life to keep my head straight when they’re pulling on my hair all so I can get a good grade in hairdresser client

I always have to fight myself when the stylist says to look down because I spent the first 20 years of my life with my mom whapping me with the hairbrush if I looked down telling me "this is why it's fucked up" bc I was looking down.

This frustrates me soooo much! Top many kids AND adults do this!! When I say look down, why are you looking up???!!!!! Ill even go as far as "Look down to your stomach" and they keep lookin in the mirror!!! UUGGHHH WHYYY???

had this issue with my boyfriend the other night when dying his hair. told him to move his head one way so I wouldn't drop any dye on him and he'd turn/tilt for 2 seconds and then it was back to his phone, neck bent. and then complained about how everything hurts

Most people need the actual direction like tilt your chin down or chin to chest.. I saw when hair dressing is say look down it was mostly done with eyes and very little head tilt until i changed my phrase it worked a lot better
