Last guy I dated made it clear from date #1 that he would pay for dinner. After 3 dates he had to go on a family weekend vacation. He couldn’t stand being away from me for 3 days and begged me to let him make me dinner at his house the night he got back. I did have to learn to accept it. We dated for a year and a half, I maybe treated him and/or cooked for him like 3 or 4 times.
