Alastor VS Vox | Vox is able to summon shockwaves whenever as he is apart of Vox’s arsenal. If Vox summons shockwave then against weakened injured Alastor Vox wins mid/high diff and against full power Alastor he pushes Alastor to mid diff at best. Reasoning for 100% approval Vox with no mental block vs weakened injured Alastor: This should be quite obvious. When Vox had his spider form he was blatantly overpowering Alastor but was struggling to land consistent tags on Alastor. With no mental block he won’t rush into the fight or act brazenly like he did in the show. He holds an objective power and AP advantage over Alastor here due to being the strongest sinner in hell at that moment. It’ll still be a hard fight as it’s obvious they’re still pretty close in power despite this but with Alastor’s abilities not working properly and him having a massive weak point that Vox can exploit, I believe Vox has this fight. Reasoning for 100% approval Vox with no mental block vs full power Alastor: I know the diffs are gonna shock people but Vox has absolutely zero scaling to this Alastor. I’ll go over just how much Alastor was nerfed in season 2 The Injury: this injury is a permanent weak spot for Alastor, characters that otherwise can’t damage Alastor a lot (like Val) can cause immense damage to Alastor if struck in this point. It would also act as a constant hinderance due to the pain he would experience during a fight Power nerfs: Alastor’s power/AP was nerfed so heavily it’s not even funny. In S1Ep8 we see Alastor make a giant shield against the Exorcist army. Not a single Exorcist is able to penetrate the shield, it takes a full power punch from an angry Adam to destroy it (this punch leaving Adam winded). Whereas in S2Ep4 we see Alastor make a shield against Velvette, who is able to penetrate it no problem with some arrows. Before anyone says “the one against Adam was bigger so it has to be stronger anyways!” I highly disagree. Alastor would have to focus his energy on making a large surface area, if he puts full power into the shield, it won’t be as strong as it could it if it were smaller as he needs to spread the power over the surface area. The smaller the surface area, the more power can be put into reinforcing its strength. Meaning that Velvette being able to pierce it so easily blatantly showcases just how much weaker Alastor got. Another bit of evidence is how in S1Ep8, Alastor is able to stagger and slightly daze Adam by punching him with a tentacle, whereas in S2Ep4, both Val and Vox are able to casually destroy these tentacles with their bare hands. 100% approval Vox only scales to weakened injured Alastor. He gets damaged by Alastor, he gets outmanoeuvred by Alastor and he can’t hurt Alastor easily. Since he scales so closely to weakened injured Alastor, you can’t justify him scaling to a full power healthy Alastor. And since the gap in power is so massive like I’ve shown, I don’t see Vox lasting long whatsoever. Another thing, Vox’s mental nerf only nerfs his IQ and BIQ, it doesn’t nerf his combat or reaction speed like I’ve seen some people state. He was Bloodlusted in their fight in S2Ep8, he wouldn’t be holding back his stats, he was just getting outmanoeuvred by Alastor. This shouldn’t be a surprise. Vox gained his power through regular means, garnering support from the sinners of hell. Whereas Alastor made a deal with a being who is implied to be someone extremely important (since vivzi said we’d find out exactly what Rosie is in season 3). So Alastor being so much more powerful just makes sense.
