This is a poor argument for the following reason: would it make sense for me to say “stop referring to your wife as ‘dear’ or ‘honey’ if you don’t want strangers calling her that”? No, because we understand that the relationship you have with that person makes it inappropriate for you to refer to her as such. In this same vein, the relationships that people who are outside of the black community have with those within it would make it inappropriate for them to refer to us as such. You do this on a day to day, you don’t call other people’s wives “baby”, or “sweetie”, because you understand the social implications, so I ask you, how is this fundamentally different with the N-word?

not how it works tho? we didn't call ourselves the n word in the first place. they made the word to keep us under and will continue to use it even if we stop. singing songs and other stuff with the n word in it is wrong if your not black but thats not the biggest issue. literally no one used the hard r and we are still referred to as such

they literally fed our children to alligators, turned us into accessories and furniture, and violated every black man and women and guess what still called us the n word for centuries in times where we didn’t fight back and were “assimilated” and guess what when black folks actually do us and dgaf we made it so EVERYONE can have rights and pushed us into greater arts… so please tell me dancing raccoon how will us not saying the word anymore make them stop when they were doing it before alr for 500 years and we just took the word back not even 50 years ago

Nobody tells Mexican or Latinos to stop saying they’re offensive words and nobody else can say. Nobody tells Chinese people that nobody tells anyone else that but us because they want to say the word so bad I don’t know how many times people have to explain words have meaning and imp patterns who is saying the word we took the N word back as a form of endearment so no needs go stop saying be a adult and grow up and if you not black dont say it
