So this mean he doesn’t have to leave a tip right?

So on a realistically $29 bill, if I tip 20% on what they charged, I’ll be tipping $9 pause the $9 they added. So $18 on $29? That’s ridiculous. I’d be complaining too or just not tipping

I mean 20% of $39 bucks is $7.80 and all the extra fees are $9 so I wonder if this would just make sense going forward for dining in somewhere and get rid of tipping since America doesn't want to pay servers a normal wage.

Florida does have an issue with international tourist because tipping culture in Europe is different than the US

I'm assuming this is because it's fake AI, but the bartender fee being more than the actual drink they got is insane.

If we are going to do that then just move to all tips in the price of food like the EU

Except if that were a real bill they are adding fees that are 30% additional and that’s without the server tip. So it would be an expected 40% tip otherwise?

I mean, if the tab was left open and the manager is trying to clear the tabs to close for the night, 3:44 AM makes sense, especially if they added fees to bypass the tip line. That stated, I will always state tip system is unethical; there is no reason to burden guests with a portion of a transaction that the business should be responsible for. Hard code the total cost (tip and tax) in to the menu item. And… pay the BOH more. (But until that day comes, tip your servers and bartenders greatly)

So then it's ok to force people to double tip? Absolutely not and I've been a bartender in the last 10 years
