As a fellow Stage 4 Warrior, let’s please remember that our Sweet Syd is truly in a battle for her very life right now. As much as we all care for, love and are worried about Syd, I think we all can agree that she deserves the utmost privacy and grace to be able to rest, heal and be with family. The last thing any of us wants is for her or her family to feel like we are being intrusive or feel obligated or pressured to give us updates while entrenched in battle… especially a battle far bigger than any of us could probably ever imagine. This is much more than her just not being on her phone much… so let’s please all give her and her family the space they not only deserve, but so desperately need right now. With that said, Thank You Austin for your very gracious update; it is so very much appreciated as your sweet sister is so special and precious to so many of us! 🥰 We are ALL thinking of and praying for you all… Sending lots of Love, Joy, Comfort, Peace and Healing ❤️🩹… Syd, You and your lovely Mom are ALL so very Loved! 💕🙏🏻💕

I know it must be surreal to have so many people you haven't met so intimately invested in your sisters wellbeing, but she truly feels like a close friend and we love her dearly. Thank you, Austin! We are so grateful for your updates, and that Syd’s getting a break from TT while she isn’t up to it. From what I’ve heard about TIL therapy, these should be the hardest days just behind her and things could be on the upswing any minute! We are all rooting for Syd and your whole family. 💚

Hi Austin. I just want to reiterate that you and your family do not owe anyone any updates about Syd. People can get very parasocial about stuff like this and it’s not okay. Yours, your family and Syd’s priority should be each other and looking after each other. You do not owe anyone anything. Please never feel bullied into that. Some of the comments I see on your page and hers are disturbing.
