Another fun fact, opiates have NEVER worked for migraines for me at least. Taking more will. not. help. As someone who has dealt with migraines for 35 years and have done literally anything to make the pain stop, opiates are not it and never will be. Not enough people talk about that. I am now on a legit migraine regimen and work with addicts. Many deal with migraines. It’s common and never talked about.

As a pharmacy student; thank you!! People don’t realize that just cause it’s over the counter, doesn’t mean it can’t be bad for you- just like you can get addicted to nasal spray (though a lot less risky than some other substances)

My family member said he wished that he never tried ❄️because that was the thing that kicked off his major major addiction. That made him continue to look for ways to get high and when he couldn’t afford it anymore he looked for cheaper options

The way people treat coke and crack so different is a complete mind fuck! They are the same exact drug but the cost and method of consumption is different. Yes that has a huge impact on how addictive it can be but still. Like they’re the same thing

I’m so thankful my grandma was in charge of my painkillers after my nose surgery it was a small surgery but the pain in mg teeth kept me reaching for the bottle and addiction is in my blood
