To be honest I’m more happy with it ending like this. As much as I love Tao and Elle I think it was quite realistic that they broke up, as it was said “most of the teenage relationships don’t last” and it was a nice way to show that, especially when Tao was talking to Nick about how she will always stay in his life, no matter what. Also both Tao and Elle and Imogen and Sahar scenes can be read as we want it to be, there wasnt said anything at the end so if we wish we can just assume they all got togheter at the end so

I feel like the idea behind it is not bad, but it just felt soo rushed. I really want to like the movie, but I fear it's just nostalgia that makes me kinda like it even if I really don't. Also, I personally think the acting doesn't feel real anymore from some actors.

it didn’t feel connected to the heartstopper seasons like at all. it felt like i was missing a lot of context from the time jump and every other character besides nick and charlie felt like a background character when so much of the show was about them too
