They’re awful. The first time I went into store I was basically called an idiot for travelling down without an appointment when I just wanted to LOOK at what they had to offer. Put me right off. Golu’s in Birmingham is another to avoid

At my sister’s wedding, we had same problem with the bridal shop in Birmingham. They gave my sister’s wedding dress, but they didn’t have the dresses that my other sisters had ordered. The owner kept making one excuse after another. To get around the problem, he told my 4 sisters they could borrow four expensive dresses from the shop for the wedding, as long as they returned them afterwards and then collected the dresses they had originally ordered. I had a feeling something wasn’t right, so I told my sister to choose the most expensive dresses in the shop. A few weeks after the wedding, the owner called me asking for the dresses back. I simply said, No chance you’re getting them back, and put the phone down on him.

Absolutely disgusting service. I had the worst experience buying my wedding dress. Thankfully my dress arrived, but when I went to collect it, I was told I had to pay significantly more than originally expected because the train was “too long” and the owner wanted to charge extra for it and she was annoyed with me because my dress came out exactly the way I wanted ALHAM DULLIAH The lehenga also came with a matching potli bag, but they kept it and tried to sell it back to me separately. When I questioned it, I was told I had to buy it. I was put in a very awkward position and, with my wedding so close, I didn’t have time to shop elsewhere. I ended up paying £100 for a bag that probably wasn’t even worth £10. To make matters worse, the staff were unhelpful and the shop was often closed despite us having arranged appointments in advance. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering buying from here reads the reviews first. My experience was extremely disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone.
