Everytime I go to Greece and they ask me where I'm from they deny my existence. I'm from Macedonia 🇲🇰 they call me skopje. Love the beaches don't love being denied my existence

I am from Kos (originally) and I have travelled many islands before visiting Crete, but this summer, I fell in love with Hania. I wish we had more time to spend there, but I’m from one place and my husband is from another, we have to also honor both sides of the family.

If you do swing by Katerini, go see litochoro. It’s a town on the slopes of Olympos. Find a local guide and ask where the bathhouse of zevs is. Fun little adventure.

I got family in Athens, so that's where we mostly go, when visiting Greece. but I've also been to Crete and Corfu, and about 40 years ago, my parents took my brother and me down to Athens (from up north in Germany) by car, so that we saw a lot of not only Greece. I would LOVE to do that again and very excessively, just driving through Greece, visiting every nice place we come across...🥰
