Immediately pmo. What an ignorant take and reductive take. Dunkirk didn’t succeed because it was made by Nolan - it succeeded because it reimagined the structure of the modern war film. It abandons the conventional “one hero, one journey” formula and turns an entire evacuation into the protagonist. It redefined the genre.
