I think she has the right to have a preference since it's literally something that will affect the rest of her life. She hasn't judged him as a person in general. She judged him only in terms of the relationship she could create with him. She apologized and offered friendship, so she generally respects him as a person. Not because there's anything wrong with the profession. Quite the opposite. It's not about the money either (they earn well, at least in my country they earn well). I simply preferred someone I could talk to. I met my husband in college. I'm an IT engineer. I'd rather not be paired up for the rest of my life with someone who spends most of their day at a job I know nothing about (I know nothing about cars. I don't even have a driver's license.) So sometimes think about the fact that it's not about judging a person, but about perspective and judging the relationship with a given person.🤷🏻♀️
