Girl!!!! Yes!!! Our PTA does a paper drive for the grades and the grade that donated the most paper gets like a pizza party! Saves the teachers and schools money. Also if my teacher needs anything I’m broke as hell I’ll still buy whatever they want!!!

I’m confused as to why they don’t buy stuff early or when it’s on sale. The school supply list doesn’t change that much from year to year. When my kids were younger, they had a drawer full of stuff. We literally did not have to buy much for the next year, but I would buy more, so they would not run out.

The “1 ream of copy paper” tells me that school probably doesn’t supply those teachers with anything. In my first school I had to purchase all my paper. I was a special ed teacher at the time and the IEP paperwork alone ate up SO much paper.
