Raul Tarcu :
Communism can’t and never will work. Look at Eastern European countries. Salaries after the fall of communism were ridiculously low, and in some cases still are. Corruption is still a huge problem. Free speech is denied. Anything you say against the state is prohibited and punished by death or forced work in camps. Famine was nationwide in certain countries. Everything YOU own automatically belongs to the state. Your house, car, furniture. Human rights are taken away, religion is banned, history classes are altered to make communism look like the greatest thing when it’s not. Read about Romania during 1948, when the communists rigged the votes, to 1989 with the execution of the countries dictator. An example of a communist country you would not want to live in is North Korea. Another example is Cuba. Anything you do is under heavy surveillance. Want to grow your own food? Too bad. The state takes it and if you refuse, not only you, but your bloodline gets killed or punished. Democracy and capitalism is the thing that allowed you to post this, to buy clothes from companies made by capitalism, and democracy guarantees your rights; right to vote, right free speech and many more. Sure, it’s not entirely perfect, and that’s because of some leaders, but the principle and idea behind democracy will always triumph above communism. Read a book or an article before promoting the single worst ideology made by mankind. History shows that communist governments have repeatedly concentrated power in the state, restricted political freedoms, suppressed dissent, and produced poor economic outcomes in many countries. While capitalism and democracy are not perfect, they generally allow greater individual liberty, political participation, private property, and economic opportunity than the authoritarian communist systems seen in countries like Romania under Ceaușescu, the Soviet Union, North Korea, or Cuba. So again, read a book.
