@techinherstep: Google recently rolled out new privacy settings for your Google account, breaking up what used to be all encompassing under “Web and App Activity”, and added two new important settings you need to check out. “Search Services History” and “Search Services Personalization”. Here’s the catch, if you had Web and App Activity turned on before, these two settings were automatically turned on. There’s also a sub setting called, “Save Media”, which is what enables Google to save your searches, map addresses, your photos and screenshots when using Google Lens, and even your voice recordings from Google Translate and “Hey Google”, to train and improve its AI models.
